During a visit to Greece, Kelly Kountouriotis, founder of Soul Support, was inspired by the community-centric, nature-based lifestyle. Upon returning home, she experienced a series of dreams which involved collecting and distributing money. As time when on, the meaning of her dreams became more clear. In the latest dream, a spirit animal - the hare, approached her and urged her to establish a nonprofit organization focused on empowering women. The hare was of particular significance to her, as it was the totem of a program called How to be Human, which she was apprenticing at the time.
Kelly graduated from Wayne State University with a BA in Sociology and a Masters of Business Administration. She is a CRM/Software professional with experience in formulating and implementing advanced technology and business solutions to meet a diverse range of requirements. She has over 30 years in project implementation and management, with a background in the nonprofit sector. Her spiritual journey began seven years ago when she woke up on New Years Day feeling deflated and knowing that there was more to life. She began a mediation practice which opened her up to a world she never knew existed. In 2021 she joined the Ethos Yoga Community where her office is now based. She is a certified yoga instructor and an active member of the community.
